Job summary

China Energy Engineering Group Shanxi Electric Power Engineering Co., Ltd. (Singapore Branch) is seeking experienced engineers to plan, coordinate, and supervise site activities for EPC and energy projects in Singapore and overseas.

Depending on experience, roles may range from Senior Engineer to Assistant Project Manager. You will liaise with clients, consultants, and suppliers, review drawings, and ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting procurement and installation

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• At least 5 years in utility-scale EPC, energy, power, or construction projects.
• Familiarity with Singapore standards and codes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and supervise site works to meet design, quality and safety standards.
• Support Chief Engineer in planning, progress tracking and reporting.
• Review and interpret technical drawings, specs and methods.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain technical docs, site reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with WSH and environmental regulations.
• Provide technical support for procurement and installation of energy storage systems.
• Coordinate with Singapore-based and China-based teams on designs and solutions.

Job Description

You will be involved in planning, coordination, and supervision of engineering and site activities across various EPC and energy-related projects. Depending on your experience, you may take on responsibilities as a Senior Engineer or Assistant Project Manager etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate and supervise site works to ensure compliance with design, quality, and safety requirements.

• Support the Chief Engineer in project planning, progress tracking, and reporting.

• Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction methods.

• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, site reports, and records.

• Ensure all works comply with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) and environmental regulations.

• Provide technical support for procurement and installation of energy storage systems and associated infrastructure.

• Communicate effectively with Singapore-based and China-based engineering teams to align project designs and technical solutions.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or related fields.

• At least 5 years of experience in utility scale sized EPC, energy, power, or construction projects, preferably with consultant company.

• Good understanding of project coordination, site supervision, and technical documentation.

• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

• Able to work independently in a fast-paced project environment.

• Familiarity with Singapore’s construction standards, codes and regulations (BCA, WSH, LTA, URA) is an advantage.

• Fluency in both English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is required, as the role involves daily coordination with China-based teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.
