Schott Singapore Pte Ltd. in the Philippines seeks a Production Planner to coordinate with Customer Service, Production, R&D, Warehouse and plating subcontractors to optimise schedules and material flow.

The role emphasizes issuing work orders, reporting on open orders, maintaining safety stocks, and providing backup support during absences, with some flexibility for urgent tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating across multiple departments (CS, Production, R&D, Warehouse).
• Ability to adjust work hours for urgent tasks or deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate closely with Customer Service, Production, R&D, Warehouse, and plating subcontractors.
• Optimise machine and manpower utilisation through planning and scheduling for production, plating subcontractors, and the internal plating department.
• Prepare open orders report for operation meeting on weekly basis.
• Issue work orders - monitor their status, and coordinate with Production if delivery dates are endangered.
• Ensure raw materials is promptly issued and coordinate with purchasing for the new requirement according to new orders received.
• Ensure that the agreed safety stocks are kept.
• Ensure all the work orders are in order before closing and give reports of outstanding work orders which is not close.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• Act as a backup when colleagues is on long leave.

What we\'re looking for

• "O" Level, Professional Certificate/NITEC.


• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience


• Ability to adjust work hours occasionally to accommodate urgent tasks or deadline


• Billingual in English and Mandarin to communicate with Chinese speaking colleagues.
