Job summary

National Grid Corporation seeks a Commercial Pilot with strong flight operations experience to support mission planning and in-flight safety within the Aviation Department. Responsibilities include coordinating with Flight Operations Manager, monitoring weather, conducting pre-/in-/post-flight inspections, and maintaining logs while ensuring CAAP compliance and insurance recurrency.

Candidates must have 1,500 total flight hours with 1,000 as PIC and hold a Philippine Commercial Pilot License

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Completion of Commercial and Instrument Pilot Course or military equivalent.
• 1,500 hours total flight time with 1,000 hours as Pilot-In-Command (PIC).
• Proficient in English and Filipino communication.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Responsibility1: PILOT
Coordinate to Flight Operations Manager for any changes of scheduled or unscheduled assigned flight mission. Always monitor weather updates before and during flight to ensure safety in flight operation. Maintain pilot proficiency in compliance to CAAP regulation and aircraft recurrency requirement for the insurance company.

• Reports to the Flight Operations Manager.
• Pilots aircraft and commands crew.
• Performs pre-flight, thru flight and post-flight inspections of the aircraft to ensure readiness and safety.
• Prepares flight plans and estimates.
• Maintains flight log and record of flight activities.
• Maintains pilot proficiency and ensures compliance to all CAAP requirements.
• Performs other functions as directed by the Flight Operations Manager.

Ensure that activities are fully compliant with NGCP safety/quality standards.

• Complies with applicable regulations and NGCP standards on safety and quality.
• Strives for the continuous improvement of NGCP processes necessary for the achievement of corporate objectives.
• Upholds corporate policies and guidelines.

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Completion of a Commercial and Instrument Pilot Course or military equivalent
• Must possess a Philippine Commercial Pilot License (airplane or helicopter)
• 1,500 hours total flight time, of which 1,000 hours as Pilot-In-Command
• Strong communication skills both written and spoken (English and Filipino)
