Job summary

Aviation Partnership Philippines is seeking a detail-oriented Safety Engineer to join our Quality Management, System, and Security team in Pasay City. You will support safety management initiatives through inspections, hazard identification, risk mitigation, incident investigation, and compliance monitoring, helping ensure a safe aviation environment and adherence to SMS and ISO standards.

Collaborate with supervisors and departments to resolve safety issues and contribute to continuous safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Aviation, or a related field.
• 1+ year of experience in safety engineering, safety inspection, or related field.
• Familiarity with safety inspection processes, SMS, and compliance standards.
• Experience in safety documentation, reporting, and follow-up of safety findings.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct safety inspections of facilities, equipment, processes, and operations.
• Identify potential hazards and elevate safety findings and concerns.
• Support risk assessments and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
• Record inspection results and prepare accurate reports for management review.
• Investigate and document safety incidents, findings, and corrective actions.
• Monitor compliance with applicable safety, SMS, ISO, aviation, and regulatory standards.
• Maintain proper safety documentation and records.
• Collaborate with supervisors, departments, and operational teams to resolve safety issues.
• Participate in corrective and preventive action initiatives.
• Support the continuous improvement of safety programs and initiatives.

• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and documentation abilities
• Good communication and collaboration skills
• Training in safety inspection techniques, SMS, ISO standards, or aviation compliance is an advantage
