Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and dispatch flights with operational flight plans considering weather, NOTAMs, fuel, and other requirements.
• Coordinate with Pilot in Command to ensure safe, compliant operations.
• Monitor real-time flight operations and weather conditions.
• Support safety and emergency response with timely information.
• Maintain accurate flight records and coordination with stakeholders.

Job Description

Role Purpose

Responsible for the safe, efficient, and economical planning, dispatch, and monitoring of flights within the assigned area of responsibility, in compliance with applicable civil aviation regulations and company policies and standards. The role requires a current and valid Flight Dispatcher license.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and dispatch flights by preparing operational flight plans considering weather, NOTAMs, air traffic, fuel efficiency, and other operational requirements.
• Exercise operational decision-making jointly with the Pilot in Command (PIC) to ensure flights are conducted safely and in compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
• Monitor flight operations in real time, including aircraft progress, weather conditions, airport and navigational facilities, and other operational developments.
• Support flight safety and emergency response by providing timely operational information to flight crew and initiating appropriate procedures when required.
• Maintain accurate operational records and communications, including flight documentation, irregularity reports, operational messages, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Aeronautical Engineering, Aviation, or a related field.
• At least2 years of flight dispatch experience, preferably with the same or similar aircraft category/class.
• Must hold avalid Flight Operations Officer/Flight Dispatcher License.
• Knowledge of flight planning, NOTAMs, weather analysis, and applicable Philippine and international civil aviation regulations.
• Strong communication, decision-making, coordination, and computer skills, with a high level of safety awareness and attention to detail.
