About the role

The PhilHealth YAKAP Encoder Associate is responsible for overseeing the overall operations and implementation of the YAKAP Program at the clinic. The role ensures efficient coordination of services, proper documentation, compliance with PhilHealth policies, and accurate reporting of patient census and program performance. The Team Leader supervises staff, monitors workflows, and ensures quality service delivery to beneficiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Encode and maintain accurate patient information and medical records in the PhilHealth YAKAP system.
• Assist in processing and verifying patient registration and membership information.
• Encode medical consultations, health assessments, and other required patient data.
• Ensure the completeness and accuracy of encoded information in accordance with PhilHealth YAKAP guidelines.
• Review and validate submitted documents and patient records for data accuracy.
• Coordinate with healthcare providers and administrative staff regarding patient information and encoding requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of patient records and personal information.
