Job summary

SGS is seeking a QA professional in Metro Manila to support comprehensive quality assurance activities within the pharmaceutical sector. The role focuses on change control, document control, audit coordination, and QA backup functions to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

The candidate will manage trainings, maintain test methods and specifications, coordinate quality agreements, and support internal and external audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science is required.
• Minimum 3 years working experience in Quality Assurance in Pharma is required.
• GMP knowledge required; USP knowledge preferred.
• Proficiency in MS Office; ability to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve Change Control Requests and ensure timely closure with owners.
• Act as site representative for trainings and document control systems and manage related activities.
• Maintain client test methods, specification databases, and coordinate Quality Agreement approvals with internal, external, and Legal teams.
• Coordinate and support internal, client, and regulatory audits and prepare responses to audit findings.
• Act as backup for QA functions, including release of Certificates of Analysis and vendor evaluations.
• Follow Training SOP for training and training records.
• Assist with special QA projects and ensure timely completion under supervision.
