Royal Canin in the Philippines seeks a Pet Specialty Retail Marketing Manager to lead strategic plans for pet specialty retailers, align marketing with business goals, and drive performance across the channel.

You will collaborate with regional leaders to analyze market opportunities, manage budgets, and launch programs that educate partners and promote the brand’s portfolio. A strong track record in FMCG or related sectors is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-7 years of work experience in a Marketing position.
• Proven track record of launching and building brands.
• Experience in FMCG, Pharma, or related industries preferred.
• Strong strategic thinking and leadership skills.
• Ability to drive growth for the brand.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of annual strategic marketing plans in collaboration with the market and regional leadership team for the Pet Specialty Retail Channel.
• Conduct market analysis and competitive benchmarking to identify growth opportunities.
• Drive the Strategic Revenue Management agenda for the channel which includes analysis on portfolio, pack, pricing, and trade investments.
• Create and lead programs that drive the channel’s priority of educating retail partners, recruiting pets through partner recommendations, and driving the strategic ranges in the portfolio.
• Manage and allocate the overall marketing budget to optimize ROI across initiatives.
• Lead new product development initiatives by aligning them with market demands and strategic goals and by creating a robust launch / activation plan.
• Orchestrate the business cycle planning of the total channel according to the S&OP+ steps, in collaboration with Sales Ops Manager.
• Monitor ROI and evaluate the effectiveness of executed programs according to their quantitative and qualitative objectives, providing corrective actions when necessary.
• Act as Project Lead of the channel’s Signature Events.
• Work closely with the Scientific Communications Team & Sales Manager on educating all internal and external stakeholders (product and brand training).
