Qualifications

• Degree in Veterinary Medicine or Animal Science preferred
• Sales experience in Human Pharma/Animal Health is a plus
• Knowledge of Pets business segment is advantageous
• Excellent communication skills
• Geographic flexibility

Responsibilities

• Optimize calls to customers and execute sales plans.
• Achieve sales targets for assigned products.
• Promote the company and its products and services.
• Plan, monitor, analyze trial protocols and results.
• Create and update customer profiles, marketing plans, and rolling forecasts.
• Manage programs and budgets to stay within standards.
• Build strong, long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Validate and document customer product complaints and, when appropriate, coordinate disposal of defective products.
• Monitor local market conditions for changes affecting the business.
• Utilize CRM to plan activity, report samples, and manage accounts.
• Maintain high ethical standards in all business contacts.
• Complete daily administrative tasks.
