Job summary

SPX Express is seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to oversee government requirements for facilities in the Manila area. You will coordinate with LGUs and internal teams to ensure continuous operation and compliance throughout the year.

The role involves managing regulatory submissions, monitoring partner and hub compliance, and building strong relations with LGU offices. Travel to various sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of processing business permits (renewal, new, retirements) and regulatory compliance for warehouse.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong communication to build rapport with LGU offices (BPLO, BIR).
• Understanding of permit requirements and navigating LGU changes across jurisdictions.
• Willing to travel and multitask.
• Connections with different LGUs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job Description

The primary role is to ensure that all of SPX’s facilities under their assignment are fully compliant with all government regulatory requirements and able to continue their operations all throughout the year.

• Monitor and process end to end government compliances for SPX facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Manage stakeholders (LGUs, BFP, etc.) to minimize and avoid risks for facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Monitor internal stakeholders (hub personnel) for submissions needed for insurance enrollment.
• Monitor external partners’ compliance requirements - ensure that SPX’s partners are also compliant with their own requirements.
• Diligently update and track statuses for hubs’ compliance for all facilities assigned by the PIC.
• Communicate with Internal Stakeholder management and partner lessors.
• LGU relationship building and management.

Requirements

• Knowledgeable on processing of business permits (renewal, new, and retirements) and other regulatory compliance for Warehouse.
• Keen attention to details and has a good communication skills to build rapport with different LGU offices; specifically BPLO and BIR
• Knowledge on the nuances between the different permits’ requirements, how to secure, and how to navigate changes from LGU to LGU.
• Must be willing to travel and can do multitasking
• Having a connection with different LGU’s is an advantage.
