Job summary

Capgemini Philippines Corp. is seeking a Performance Tester to assess speed, stability, and scalability of applications by designing and executing tests using Apache JMeter and monitoring tools.

The candidate will analyze requirements, develop test scripts, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize performance and reliability. Experience with CI/CD integration and modern testing practices is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of performance testing experience.
• Strong knowledge of Apache JMeter.
• Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, REST APIs, SOAP, Web Services.
• Experience with performance monitoring tools such as Grafana, Kibana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic.
• Knowledge of SQL and database performance testing.
• Basic Linux/Unix commands.
• Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business and non-functional requirements (NFRs).
• Design and develop performance test scripts using Apache JMeter.
• Create test scenarios for: Load Testing, Stress Testing, Volume Testing, Endurance/Soak Testing, Spike Testing.
• Parameterize test data and implement correlations in JMeter scripts.
• Configure and execute test runs.
• Monitor application, database, and server performance during testing.
• Analyze response times, throughput, CPU, memory, and network utilization.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations.
• Prepare performance test reports and present findings to stakeholders.
• Work closely with developers, infrastructure, and business teams to troubleshoot issues.
• Support CI/CD integration for performance testing where required.
