Job summary

Questronix Corporation is seeking a Non-Functional Test Engineer to ensure the performance, load, and scalability of IT systems in a Bank environment. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define testable non-functional requirements and drive testing across cloud and on-prem deployments.

You will analyze performance bottlenecks, recommend tuning strategies, and contribute to the continuous improvement of the testing framework while adhering to compliance standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in non-functional testing (performance, load, stress, scalability).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; additional training in non-functional testing preferred.
• Experience with software development methodologies (Agile/Waterfall).
• Strong knowledge of non-functional testing techniques and tools (LoadRunner, JMeter, Gatling).
• Familiarity with web services and REST APIs.
• Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies; understanding of performance & scalability factors.
• Knowledge of databases like MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Understanding of testing frameworks and tools (JUnit, TestNG, Selenium).

Job Description

• Responsible for the performance assurance of the Bank's IT systems, including but not limited to non-functional test requirement analysis, non-functional test plan, scenarios, KPIs, test cases development and design, and non-functional test objectives and test strategies setting; Collaborates with technical and business stakeholders to ensure non-functional requirements are clearly defined and are testable

• Supports the execution of the non-functional test strategy for complex delivery programs and projects for both cloud and on-premise deployments; Responsible for implementing and executing nonfunctional tests, analyzing data, and identifying, locating, and resolving performance issues.
• Responsible for system performance bottleneck analysis, making performance tuning recommendations and assisting in performance tuning, and preparing non-functional test reports
• Continuously improves the non-functional testing framework, and writes nonfunctional testing documents to meet the Bank's development needs
• Researches and implements new non-functional testing technologies, responsible for the selection of nonfunctional testing tools and the construction of nonfunctional testing platform to improve the quality and efficiency of non-functional testing
• Supports a positive and collaborative digital delivery culture with a philosophy of continuous improvement, development, innovation and excellence, while remaining in compliance
