Job summary

Indra Philippines, Inc. is seeking an experienced Performance Test Engineer to develop and execute performance, load, and stress tests. You will model workloads, script tests, and analyze results to drive system tuning and optimization.

You will collaborate with Development, Infra, QA, and Architects to ensure requirements are met and test environments are validated. This role requires strong communication and mentorship to junior testers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 5 years hands-on performance testing experience.
• Experience with LoadRunner, JMeter, NeoLoad, or StresStimulus.
• Experience designing performance strategies and workload models.
• Ability to analyze results and recommend tuning strategies.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams and mentoring juniors.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Performance Test Plans and secure review and approval from relevant stakeholders.

• Design, develop, and execute performance, load, and stress tests under various workload conditions.

• Develop workload models based on non-functional requirements, system architecture, and performance objectives.

• Create, maintain, and execute performance test scripts using industry-standard tools.

• Analyze performance test results to identify bottlenecks, performance issues, and areas for optimization.

• Provide actionable recommendations for system tuning and performance improvement.

• Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, QA, Solution Architects, Technical Leads, and Test Administration teams to ensure performance requirements are met.

• Validate performance test environments and ensure proper integration with relevant systems and Systems of Record (SORs).

• Maintain performance test scripts, test data, configurations, and supporting documentation.

• Monitor and report system scalability, reliability, responsiveness, and overall performance results.

• Document Performance Test Results and facilitate stakeholder review and sign-off.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to performance testing, monitoring, and testing processes.

• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior performance testers or QA team members.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in performance testing.

• Strong experience with one or more performance testing tools such as LoadRunner, Apache JMeter, NeoLoad, or StresStimulus.

• Proven experience designing and implementing performance test strategies.

• Experience developing workload models based on non-functional requirements and system architecture.

• Strong experience analyzing performance test results, identifying bottlenecks, and recommending tuning strategies.

• Experience collaborating with Development, Infrastructure, QA, and technical teams for system performance optimization.

• Experience with banking applications, APIs, middleware, databases, API gateways, and test environments is an advantage.

• Experience driving process improvements related to performance testing and monitoring.

• Experience mentoring junior testers or QA team members.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
