Position Overview:

The People Engagement Intern provides administrative and logistical support to the People Engagement team in the implementation of company events, recognition programs, and employee engagement activities. Working under the supervision of the People Engagement Associate or Specialist, the intern assists in coordination, documentation, and communication efforts that promote employee involvement and a positive work environment. This role offers hands‑on experience in HR operations, event coordination, and employee experience initiatives.

Main Responsibilities: Company Events and Team Building

• Assist in organizing and setting up company events such as team buildings, company-wide events (e.g., Year-End Party, Mid-year party, Departmental Outings).
• Support the team in handling end-to-end event logistics including venue, equipment, vendor, transportation, food sourcing, supplier coordination, budget preparation, and cash advance requests.
• Help in documenting event proceedings (e.g., attendance, photos, feedback forms).
• Participate in event execution and provide post‑event assistance such as compiling surveys or feedback summaries.
• Assist with the preparation of program flow, activities, and facilitation guides

Monthly Activities and Campaigns

• Help in researching and proposing ideas for monthly employee engagement activities (e.g., wellness drives, global observances, cultural celebrations, and Corporate Social Responsibilities).
• Assist in preparing communication drafts, posters, and other creative materials.
• Support scheduling, coordination, and tracking of activity participation.
• Maintain proper documentation of implemented activities.

Employee Experience and Communication

• Assist in drafting and posting internal communications, announcements, and visual materials for engagement activities.
• Coordinate with associates and other departments for the dissemination of employee‑related updates.
• Help gather and compile employee feedback or survey responses.
• Supplement in design creation of publication materials related to engagement activities and events.

Rewards and Recognition (R&R) Program

• Support the team in monitoring nominations, updating R&R trackers, and preparing award materials.
• Assist in data encoding, verification of information, and coordination with employees for acknowledgment.

Documentation and Administrative Support

• Provide clerical support such as filing, encoding, and organizing digital and physical documents.
• Maintain activity trackers and ensure records are complete and up to date.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports, and documentation as needed.
• Perform other support functions as assigned by the People Engagement Associate or Specialist.
