Job summary

PVGC in the Philippines is seeking an experienced HR Specialist/Manager who will help build a strong, high‑performing culture while balancing employee well‑being with accountability and business goals.

You will lead culture initiatives, refine policies, manage recruitment and onboarding, handle performance development, and ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws while leveraging AI tools to improve HR processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field.
• Proven experience in HR generalist, supervisory, or managerial role.
• Strong leadership, decision‑making, coaching, and conflict‑resolution skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Filipino.
• Experience in recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.

Responsibilities

• Lead initiatives that strengthen the company’s culture, values, teamwork, accountability, and employee engagement
• Work closely with management to define and communicate the organization’s mission, values, and expected workplace behaviors
• Develop programs that improve employee morale, collaboration, recognition, and retention
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviews, job offers, and onboarding
• Create an onboarding experience that helps new employees understand the company’s culture, standards, and expectations
• Develop, implement, and improve HR policies, procedures, employee handbooks, and company guidelines
• Manage performance evaluations, employee coaching, development plans, and performance improvement programs
• Handle employee concerns, workplace conflicts, disciplinary matters, and performance issues fairly and professionally
• Prepare notices, memoranda, incident reports, notices to explain, and other HR correspondence
• Maintain complete and accurate employee records, contracts, and HR documentation
• Monitor attendance, leaves, tardiness, overtime, and other employee-related records
• Assist in payroll preparation and employee information verification
• Plan employee engagement, recognition, training, and professional development activities
• Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and government-mandated requirements
• Provide management with HR reports, workforce insights, and practical recommendations
• Use technology and AI tools to improve recruitment, reporting, documentation, employee engagement, and other HR processes
