Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks three full-time University Staff (non-classified) Peer Recovery Specialists to join the ARTS Adult Outpatient Program and the Mobile Medication Unit, with clinics in Denver, Aurora, and Arvada. The roles focus on peer-led interventions, care coordination, and outreach for patients with substance use disorders.

These on-site positions are 40 hours weekly, typically Monday–Friday 6:00am to 2:30pm, with potential weeknights or weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience working closely with patients.
• Experience with care coordination and referrals is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Peer Specialist to implement interventions for patients entering care.
• Identify barriers and coordinate services to Beneficiaries.
• Conduct peer-led group interventions and outreach to engage pregnant/postpartum patients in SUD treatment.
• Provide case management, referrals, and track patient engagement in prenatal care.
• Maintain confidentiality and document in electronic health records; drive to meetings as needed.
