Job summary

The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus seeks two full-time, University Staff Peer Recovery Specialists for the ARTS Adult Outpatient Program with clinics in Denver, Aurora, and Arvada. You will engage adults with substance use disorders, provide education, outreach, and connect patients to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; one year of related experience in SUD treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Engage adults with substance use disorders and educate patients about treatment options.
• Conduct case management addressing social determinants of health and coordinate care.
• Perform structured peer-led interventions and community outreach to engage patients in MAT/treatment.
• Maintain accurate records and document in electronic health records in a timely manner.
• Schedule internal and external appointments and report patient data for program evaluation.
