University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a Part-time Medication Dispensing Nurse for the Addiction Research & Treatment Services Adult Outpatient Program. Qualifications

• Two years of nursing, nursing assistance, or dispensing medication experience.
• Experience assessing patient needs and reporting to physicians or counselors.
• Ability to handle controlled medications and transport per policy.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients for appropriateness of treatment.
• Assess needs for physical exams and report to physicians/counselors.
• Administer medications including methadone, Suboxone, naltrexone, Antabuse, and extended-release naltrexone.
