Rockstar is seeking a full-time Medical Virtual Assistant to support a multidisciplinary pediatric therapy practice in Oregon. You will handle insurance eligibility, referrals, and administrative tasks to ensure timely, accurate patient information and smooth workflows within the EMR (Raintree).

The role emphasizes coordination of benefits, pre-authorizations, and payer communications, with a focus on detail-oriented, independent work in a dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

• Raintree EMR experience required.
• Experience with insurance eligibility verification, referrals, or medical administrative work preferred.
• Strong understanding of insurance concepts: copays, deductibles, prior authorizations, benefit limits.
• Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently, accurately, and independently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive).

Responsibilities

• Verify insurance eligibility for pediatric PT/OT/SLP services across portals.
• Track benefits, authorizations, and coverage limitations.
• Update EMR and records with insurance information.
• Liaise with insurance providers to confirm coverage details.
• Manage referrals from physicians and other providers.
• Obtain pre-authorizations for therapy services when required.
• Maintain and update EMR records with insurance, referrals, and patient data.
• Support team communication and workflows using Google Workspace and insurance portals.
