Job summary

Arbex invites a Payroll/Workday Solution Architect to lead integration projects for Payroll and Workday platforms, driving architecture, design, and delivery across HR & Legal domains.

The role requires deep Workday integration expertise, strong requirements management, and a track record in agile delivery. It offers a remote-friendly, hybrid environment with focus on innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with 7–10+ years of experience in Workday integrations and 4+ years with payroll solutions.
• Expert in requirements management, with knowledge of architecture and technology management.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Solution Architect and Technical Developer of medium to large projects for Payroll and Workday platforms integrations.
• Accountabilities across multiple functional and technical areas with wide range of complexity between HR & Legal capabilities.
• Proactive analysis of business processes integrations and identification of innovative ways to address near term business needs which includes identifying these opportunities, reviewing and obtaining a disposition decision from the appropriate business client, assessing the fit of these opportunities into current initiatives, or including the opportunity in future demand.
• Map the Customer Journey and partner with the business in the co-creation of solutions integrations that add value to Arbex.
• Drives the evaluation of the factors which must be addressed in the change program.
• Leads Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives; consults and shares knowledge across org; full awareness of industry and technology trends that can bring K-C a competitive advantage.
• Manage the configuration, maintenance, and support of the Workday HCM system and Payroll integrations.
• As the subject matter expert in Payroll and Workday HCM integrations.
• Define solution standards, guidelines, guardrails and decision principles across the HR technology landscape.
• Ensure solution designs adhere to approved architecture patterns, security requirements, integration standards and enterprise technology principles.
• Stay current with Workday releases and new features, recommending opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Partner on technology roadmap tied to business strategy.
• Create clear and comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, change and configuration documentation, and product roadmaps.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 7-10+ years of Professional experience with Workday integrations and 4+ years with payroll solutions.
• Experience participating IT Projects and/or Programs.
• Expert in Requirements management, with knowledge of Architecture and Technology management.
• Deep knowledge on Integrations definitions
• Strong experience in Workday integrations with WD Studio, PICOF & PECI, XSLT
• Strong experience with EIB data loads
• Deep knowledge in applying agile methodologies and rapid prototyping.
• Understands how to coordinate the flow of work between agile teams and more traditional project based teams.
• Experience as Scrum Master running Agile Projects.
• Has experience developing applications and able to apply that experience to identify opportunities, design initiatives that improve business process and ensure best practices are being followed.
• Holistic IT background, including security, infrastructure, application, information management.
• Strong service delivery skills.
• Cultivates networking opportunities with peer organizations.
• Broad range of business and IT experiences; has achieved technical and/or business certification(s).
• Verbal and written fluency in English is mandatory.
• Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the K-C organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
