ARBEX is seeking a Workday HCM Product Owner and Senior Analyst to manage the Workday HCM system, lead the product backlog, and coordinate with HR stakeholders globally. You will ensure optimal configuration, governance, and delivery across Compensation, Benefits, Talent, and Talent Acquisition.

You will work in a hybrid model from Bengaluru, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging Workday releases to drive continuous improvement and value for the business.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of proven experience managing Workday HCM, including direct configuration of complex requirements.
  • Proficiency in Workday configuration (Compensation, Benefits, Core HR, Talent) including business process setup, security, calculated fields, and custom reports.
  • Demonstrated skills in application delivery, relationship management, and cross-cultural collaboration.
  • Experience coordinating small teams across geographies within a global organization.
  • Ability to translate business needs to technical requirements and back, with strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the product owner for Workday HCM including Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Talent Acquisition, LOA.
  • Manage the configuration, maintenance, and support of the Workday HCM system.
  • Provide guidance and hands-on support for escalated Workday issues in partnership with managed services.
  • Establish governance, intake, approval and demand prioritization processes.
  • Define solution standards, architecture alignment, and security/compliance across HR tech landscape.
  • Coordinate with HR stakeholders to maintain a backlog and prioritize work.
  • Create clear product documentation including user stories and roadmaps.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as Workday HCM Product Owner and Senior Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) system and serving as the product owner. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful optimization and configuration of Workday HCM, along with other HR technology.

Job responsibilities include:

DTS Product Owner is accountable for HR technological strategy; application roadmap, implementation & support coordination; key DTS business contact landscape. Team Structure Reports to DTS HR & Legal Global Lead Coordinate and provide functional leadership to the DTS Workday team Job responsibilities include: Serve as the product owner for Workday HCM including Compensation, Benefits, Talent, Talent Acquisition, LOA. Manage the configuration, maintenance, and support of the Workday HCM system. Partner with key HR stakeholders to maintain a backlog, prioritize work, design solutions and define Ways of Working that meet the business needs. Understand and translate business needs to technical requirements and vice versa. Configure Workday HCM to meet business requirements, including business process workflows, tenant settings, and custom reports. As the subject matter expert in Workday HCM and employee data, provide guidance and hands‑on technical support for escalated Workday‑related issues, troubleshooting and resolving problems in partnership with the managed services support team in a timely manner. Establish and lead governance process, including intake, approval and demand prioritization. Define solution standards, guidelines, guardrails and decision principles across the HR technology landscape. Ensure solution designs adhere to approved architecture patterns, security requirements, integration standards and enterprise technology principles. Stay current with Workday releases and new features, recommending opportunities for improvement and innovation. Serve as the Workday Release Manager, coordinating with HR, DTS and business stakeholders ensuring smooth deployment of system updates to align releases with business objectives and through bi‑annual releases and hotfixes. Collaborate across other product owners/product teams to understand planned activities and potential impacts on the product and/or team’s capacity. Partner on technology roadmap tied to business strategy. Create clear and comprehensive product documentation, including user stories, acceptance criteria, change and configuration documentation, and product roadmaps.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following experience and qualifications:

8+ years of proven experience managing Workday HCM, including direct configuration of complex requirements. Proficiency in Workday configuration (Compensation, Benefits, Core HR, Talent), including business process setup, security, calculated fields, and custom reports. Demonstrated skills in application delivery, relationship management, delivering results, business knowledge, intuition and judgment, high cross-cultural awareness and sensitivity, strong communication/collaboration. Experience working in a global organization. Experience coordinating small teams across multiple geographies. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions. Decision‑making – Capability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively, balancing competing priorities and risks Backlog management – Skills in creating, prioritizing and managing the product backlog to ensure that the development team works on the highest‑value items Developing/mentoring others and providing guidance/feedback to drive outcomes. Experience proactively engaging available technology resources to develop a strong network and growth (e.g., Workday Community, user groups, etc). Data Analysis – Ability to analyze data and metrics to understand product performance, user behavior, and areas for improvement. Problem solving – Aptitude for identifying issues and obstacles and finding practical solutions to keep the product development on track. Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance, cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines. Experience working in an Agile manner and Agile tools a plus.
