Responsibilities

• Data collection & verification: gather timesheets, track attendance, log overtime, holiday pay, and PTO.
• Wage & tax calculation: compute gross pay, apply deductions, and process garnishments if any.
• Payroll processing: execute direct deposits or issue checks on the agreed pay schedule.
• Record keeping & maintenance: update employee files for hires, terminations, promotions, and banking changes.
• Compliance & reporting: prepare summaries, reconcile accounts, file government tax reports.
• Employee support: answer paycheck/tax questions and resolve discrepancies.
