Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day payroll services for the US region, ensuring compliance with regulations and SLA guidelines. You will administer payroll activities and HR systems, maintaining accurate documentation across processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of relevant work experience to Payroll
• Must have experience in processing US, Canada, region payroll, exposure to end-to-end payroll processing is preferred
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office tools
• Basic knowledge and understanding of HR processes and procedures
• Must have experience in a high-volume/high-headcount payroll processing
• Experience in using Empower/ Easy Pay, ADP, Global view, Celegro and Workday or other Payroll Systems
• Experience in Oracle System is a plus
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely perform assigned payroll activities for the US/Canada region
• Provide admin assistance to ensure compliance with taxation and regulations
• Maintain payroll records and documentation in systems
• Escalate issues to Team Lead for resolution
• Maintain SOP/DTP of processes and update as required
• Handle routine tasks in accordance with SLAs and policies
• Assist in audit-related activities and process improvements
• Support simple process improvement initiatives to streamline payroll processes
