Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support day-to-day payroll services for the US region, ensuring accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations. The role involves processing end-to-end payroll activities and administering HR systems to maintain accurate records.

Ideal candidates will have experience with high-volume payroll, strong MS Office skills, and familiarity with Empower, ADP, Workday or similar systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years of payroll experience.
• Experience with US/Canada payroll processing preferred.
• Strong MS Office skills and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Accurately perform payroll activities in support of the US region.
• Ensure compliance with taxation and regulatory requirements.
• Manage systems and documentation for payroll records.
• Escalate issues to Team Lead for timely resolution.
• Maintain SOP/DTP and update documentation as needed.
• Perform varied tasks in line with SLA and policies.
• Gather documents to support investigations of recurring issues.
• Participate in audit-related activities.
• Assist process improvements to streamline payroll.
