Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking a Payroll Specialist in Eastwood to process payroll on time and accurately, following legal and company standards. You will prepare all supporting reports and journal entries, and handle final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.

Maintain payroll records, address inquiries, and assist in government contribution and tax reporting. The role supports month-end/year-end closes and requires collaboration within a high-performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or business-related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of end-to-end payroll processing experience.
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• High integrity with no history of fraud or misappropriation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing with supporting reports and journal entries.
• Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
• Maintain and update payroll records in an organized manner.
• Address payroll inquiries in a timely manner.

Your Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you will provide all necessary data in order to process payroll or final pay in a timely and accurate manner following legal and company standards.

Specifically, You Will

• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including the preparation of all supporting reports and journal entries.
• Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
• Maintain and update payroll records in an accurate and organized manner.
• Address and resolve assigned payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of reports on government contributions, loans, and withholding taxes.
• Support the preparation of month-end, year-end, and fiscal year-end reports.
• Perform payroll-account reconciliations and various routine administrative and clerical tasks as required.
• Collaborate actively towards achieving departmental goals and objectives.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a Business-related course (Business majors must have at least 24 units in accounting/taxation).
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• High integrity, with no history of fraud, malversation, or misappropriation.

• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.
• Effective time management and the ability to deliver accurate results under pressure.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong willingness to undergo training.
