Job summary

MicroSourcing in Clark, Pampanga, is seeking a Senior Payroll Officer to lead end-to-end payroll processes for local employees, contractors, and consultants in a hybrid, day-shift environment.

You will ensure accurate payroll data entry, run month-end close, process statutory payments, and support audits and period-end reporting, while collaborating with the Finance team to ensure compliance and timely payroll cycles.

• Conducts payroll analysis and reporting under instruction from senior managers.
• Reviews the payroll function to identify anomalies and trends.
• Demonstrates expertise in the use of payroll software.
• Demonstrates experience in dealing with compliance and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end payroll function including monthly internal payroll, weekly contractor payroll, and consultant commissions.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate, tables maintained, and reports produced and saved.
• Support payroll month-end processes and data reconciliation year-to-date.
• Assist with payroll creditors such as PAYG, Superannuation, Child Support, IRD payments.
• Assist in reconciling payroll GL accounts with Finance.
• Assist with payroll year-end within required timeframes.
• Assist with payroll audits of employee contracts as directed by Payroll Specialist / Group Financial Controller.
• Provide backup for the Accounts Team including weekly billing and AP invoice processing.

Job Responsibilities

Support the end-to-end payroll function for Stellar, including monthly internal payroll, weekly contractor payroll, and consultant commissions

• Support the administration of the payroll data to ensure our processes are correct, the data tables are maintained, and the data reconciles on a rolling YTD basis
• Ensure all pay-runs are prepared with accuracy, all backup information is saved, and all required reports are produced and saved
• Support the preparation and processing of payroll month end, ensuring payroll data reconciles YTD
• Support preparation and processing payroll creditors such as PAYG, Superannuation, Child Support, IRD Payments
• Assist in reconciling all payroll related GL accounts each month with the Finance Team
• Assist in reconciling and execution of payroll year end within the required timeframes
• Assist with payroll audits of employee contracts as directed by Payroll Specialist / Group Financial Controller
• Provide backup and coverage for the Accounts Team when required. This includes weekly billing and AP invoice processing.
