MicroSourcing is hiring a Payroll Specialist in Cebu to ensure timely, accurate payroll processing in line with legal and company standards. You will prepare final pays, maintain payroll records, and handle inquiries with attention to detail.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accountancy or a business-related field, plus at least 1 year of end-to-end payroll experience and strong English communication. Hybrid setup in Cebu IT Tower 2, day shift, competitive rewards await.

Your Role:

As a Payroll Specialist, you will provide all necessary data in order to process payroll or final pay in a timely and accurate manner following legal and company standards.

Specifically, you will:

Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including the preparation of all supporting reports and journal entries.

Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.

Maintain and update payroll records in an accurate and organized manner.

Address and resolve assigned payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner.

Assist in the preparation of reports on government contributions, loans, and withholding taxes.

Support the preparation of month-end, year-end, and fiscal year-end reports.

Perform payroll-account reconciliations and various routine administrative and clerical tasks as required.

Collaborate actively towards achieving departmental goals and objectives.

What You Need:

Non-negotiables

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a Business-related course (Business majors must have at least 24 units in accounting/taxation).

Minimum of one (1) year of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.

High integrity, with no history of fraud, malversation, or misappropriation.

Preferred skills/expertise

Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail.

Effective time management and the ability to deliver accurate results under pressure.

Proactive, self-motivated, and a strong willingness to undergo training.
