Job summary

MicroSourcing in the Philippines is seeking a dedicated Payroll Officer to support payroll operations across our delivery centers, including Eastwood, QC and Clark, Pampanga. This hybrid, day-shift role offers a constructive environment and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end payroll function for Stellar, including monthly internal payroll.
• Assist weekly contractor payroll and consultant commissions.
• Ensure payroll data is accurate, compliant, and reconciles YTD.
• Prepare payroll month-end activities and payroll creditors (PAYG, Superannuation, Child Support).
• Assist with payroll GL reconciliations and year-end processes.
• Assist with payroll audits of employee contracts.

Your Role

To assist with running the payroll function across the business and support the Payroll Team and Payroll Team Leader.

Accountabilities

• Support the end-to-end payroll function for Stellar, including:
• Monthly internal payroll
• Weekly contractor payroll
• Consultant commissions
• Support the administration of payroll data to ensure:
• Processes are accurate and compliant
• Data tables are maintained
• Payroll data reconciles on a rolling YTD (Year-to-Date) basis
• Ensure all pay runs are:
• Prepared accurately
• Properly documented with backup information
• Accompanied by all required reports, which are saved accordingly
• Support the preparation and processing of payroll month-end activities, ensuring payroll data reconciles YTD
• Support the preparation and processing of payroll creditors, including:
• PAYG
• Superannuation
• Child Support
• Assist the Finance Team in reconciling all payroll-related GL (General Ledger) accounts each month
• Assist with the reconciliation and execution of payroll year-end processes within required timeframes
• Assist with payroll audits of employee contracts as directed by the Payroll Specialist and/or Group
