Job summary

MicroSourcing is hiring a Payroll Specialist to join our team in a hybrid setup with day shift. You will process payroll and final pay, maintain records, and ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related business field and at least 1 year of end-to-end payroll experience, with strong English communication and proficiency in MS Excel. Healthcare starts day one.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a business-related course (Business majors must have at least 24 units in accounting/taxation).
• Minimum of one year of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• High integrity, with no history of fraud, malversation, or misappropriation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including the preparation of all supporting reports and journal entries.
• Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
• Maintain and update payroll records in an accurate and organized manner.
• Address and resolve assigned payroll‑related inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of reports on government contributions, loans, and withholding taxes.
• Support the preparation of month‑end, year‑end, and fiscal year‑end reports.
• Perform payroll‑account reconciliations and various routine administrative and clerical tasks as required.
• Collaborate actively towards achieving departmental goals and objectives.

Your Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you will provide all necessary data in order to process payroll or final pay in a timely and accurate manner following legal and company standards.

Specifically, You Will

Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including the preparation of all supporting reports and journal entries.

Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.

Maintain and update payroll records in an accurate and organized manner.

Address and resolve assigned payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
