MicroSourcing is hiring a Finance Payroll Specialist in a hybrid, day-shift role at our Eastwood location. You will process payroll on time and accurately, maintain payroll records, and ensure compliance with legal requirements.

This position supports final pay computations and BIR forms as part of a compliant payroll workflow. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s in Accountancy or related field, has 1 year of payroll experience, and demonstrates strong English skills and Excel proficiency.

• Minimum 1 year of end-to-end payroll experience.
• Strong English communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate payroll processing and related journal entries.
• Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
• Maintain and update payroll records in an organized manner.
• Address payroll-related inquiries promptly.
• Assist in reports on government contributions, loans, and withholding taxes.
• Support month-end, year-end, and fiscal year-end payroll reporting.
• Perform payroll-account reconciliations and routine clerical tasks.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve departmental goals.

Your Role

As a Payroll Specialist, you will provide all necessary data in order to process payroll or final pay in a timely and accurate manner following legal and company standards.

Specifically, You Will

• Ensure the timely and accurate processing of payroll, including the preparation of all supporting reports and journal entries.
• Prepare final pay computations and BIR Form 2316.
• Maintain and update payroll records in an accurate and organized manner.
• Address and resolve assigned payroll-related inquiries in a timely manner.
• Assist in the preparation of reports on government contributions, loans, and withholding taxes.
• Support the preparation of month-end, year-end, and fiscal year-end reports.
• Perform payroll-account reconciliations and various routine administrative and clerical tasks as required.
• Collaborate actively towards achieving departmental goals and objectives.

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or a Business-related course (Business majors must have at least 24 units in accounting/taxation).
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in end-to-end payroll processing.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
• High integrity, with no history of fraud, malversation, or misappropriation.
