PeoplePro Outsourcing Solutions is seeking a Payroll Implementation Specialist in Cebu to lead end-to-end payroll system setups for international clients.

You will gather client requirements, configure payroll rules, import data, run tests, and support go-live while ensuring data accuracy across large employee datasets.

You will collaborate with clients, HR, and finance teams to deliver accurate implementations on time and maintain high data integrity throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or a related field.
• 2+ years in payroll implementation, payroll administration, or a related role.
• Strong Excel and experience handling large datasets.
• Ability to analyze, validate, and reconcile large volumes of payroll data.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

About the role

We are looking for a Payroll Implementation Specialist to support the successful implementation of payroll solutions for our international clients.

In this role, you will manage and support the end-to-end payroll implementation process, from gathering client requirements and setting up employee data through system configuration, testing, validation, and go-live.

A key part of the role is ensuring that employee and payroll data is complete, accurate, and properly configured. Our clients may have hundreds or thousands of employees in a single country, so you must be comfortable working with large datasets and understand how even a small data error can affect an employee's payslip, payroll calculations, and downstream financial reconciliations.

You will work closely with clients, HR, payroll, finance, and internal implementation teams to ensure that payroll implementations are delivered accurately, on time, and according to the agreed requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end implementation of payroll solutions for new clients

• Gather and analyze client requirements, payroll policies, employee information, and existing business processes

• Determine what employee and payroll information is required to correctly set up new employees in the payroll system

• Configure payroll systems according to client-specific requirements

• Set up payroll rules, earnings, deductions, benefits, taxes, allowances, and other payroll components

• Import, validate, clean, and migrate employee and payroll data into the payroll system

• Perform payroll calculations, testing, validation, and parallel payroll runs before go-live

• Identify, investigate, and resolve implementation issues, data discrepancies, configuration issues, and payroll errors

• Ensure all implementation requirements are completed accurately and within agreed timelines

• Work closely with clients and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure a smooth implementation

• Understand the employee lifecycle and how information flows from recruitment and onboarding through HR and payroll.

About you

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

• 2+ years of professional experience in payroll implementation, payroll administration, payroll operations, or a closely related role

• Strong understanding of payroll processes, payroll calculations, employee data, and related procedures

• Strong Excel skills and experience working with large datasets

• Ability to analyze, validate, and reconcile large volumes of employee and payroll information

• Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on data accuracy

• Strong organizational, project management, and time-management skills

• Ability to manage multiple implementations, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously

• Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with clients and internal teams

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills

• Nice to Have: Experience with payroll or HR systems such as Nmbrs, AFAS, Loket, ADP, Workday, SAP, or similar platforms

• Nice to Have: Experience with payroll integrations, APIs, or HRIS systems

• Practical experience working with payroll or HR systems.
