Job summary

Servicio Filipino, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist to manage full-cycle payroll for Laguna-based employees, including salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and compliance reporting.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in HR/Accounting or related field, strong Excel skills, experience with HRIS/payroll software, and a proven ability to meet strict deadlines while handling confidential information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Previous experience in payroll, HR operations, accounting, or related role preferred.
• Knowledge of payroll processes, labor regulations, taxes, and statutory contributions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll/HRIS systems.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
• Good organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict payroll deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process regular payroll, including salaries, overtime, allowances, bonuses, deductions, and other adjustments.
• Verify attendance, timekeeping, leave records, and payroll inputs before processing.
• Calculate and process statutory deductions, taxes, and employee contributions in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential employee payroll and HR records.
• Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and reconciliations for management and Finance.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding salaries, deductions, benefits, and other payroll-related concerns.
• Coordinate with HR and Finance regarding employee changes, new hires, promotions, transfers, resignations, and final pay.
• Ensure timely submission and payment of required payroll-related government contributions and reports.
• Review payroll data for discrepancies and investigate and correct errors promptly.
• Maintain payroll documentation and ensure proper filing and record retention.
• Assist with audits and provide payroll-related documents and reports when required.
• Stay updated on changes in payroll regulations, labor requirements, and company policies.
• Perform other HR and payroll-related duties as assigned.
