Job summary

ECLARO is seeking a Payroll Analyst in the Philippines to support accurate, timely payroll processing for assigned populations. The role reviews inputs, validates calculations and coordinates with employees, HR, Finance and external providers.

The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and experience handling confidential payroll information, with proficiency in Excel and SAP-based systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/HR/BA or related field.
• At least two years of payroll, HR operations or payroll accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes, reconciliations and employee data administration.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet payroll deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (lookups, pivot tables, data reconciliation).
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work with local and international stakeholders.
• Discretion when handling confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Collect, review and validate payroll inputs (employee changes, attendance, allowances, deductions, overtime).
• Support end-to-end monthly and off-cycle payroll processing.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate variances before final approval.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with legislation, policies and controls.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, employees and third-party providers to resolve issues.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries accurately and within service levels.
• Maintain payroll records, reports and supporting documentation.
• Support statutory reporting, year-end processing, audits and payroll-control reviews.
• Prepare payroll reports, journals and funding information for Finance.
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll accuracy, efficiency and controls.
• Assist with payroll-system implementations, migrations, testing and process changes.
• Protect confidential payroll information at all times.

• Support end-to-end monthly and off-cycle payroll processing.
• Perform payroll reconciliations and investigate variances before final approval.
• Ensure payroll activities comply with applicable legislation, company policies and internal controls.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, employees and third-party payroll providers to resolve payroll-related issues.
• Respond to employee payroll inquiries accurately and within agreed service levels.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• At least two years of relevant payroll, HR operations or payroll-accounting experience.
• Working knowledge of payroll processes, reconciliations and employee data administration.
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to meet strict payroll deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including lookups, pivot tables and data reconciliation.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with local and international stakeholders.
• Demonstrated discretion when handling confidential information.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience supporting payroll in a multinational or shared-services environment.
• Experience with SAP, SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Payroll or another major payroll platform.
• Knowledge of Philippine statutory payroll requirements.
• Experience with multi-country or regional payroll operations.
• Experience working with outsourced payroll providers.
• Exposure to payroll testing, system implementation or process migration.
