Job summary

Jobtailor in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a data analytics professional to own mobile analytics end-to-end and oversee transaction feed analytics for the Salmon App. You will build dashboards, monitor metrics, and deliver data-driven insights to inform product decisions.

The role requires 2+ years in data analytics, strong SQL, and experience with BI tools (Tableau/Looker/Metabase). Relocation to Manila and GMT+8 hours are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data analytics, preferably in fintech or payments.
• Hands-on experience with product analytics tools such as Amplitude, Mixpanel, Firebase Analytics, or GA4.
• Experience tracking user behavior across mobile apps, including funnels, drop-off, retention, and feature adoption analysis.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Hands-on experience with BI and data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Metabase.
• Familiarity with transaction data, payment flows, categorization, reconciliation, and data quality issues.
• Ability to translate business questions into analytical frameworks and actionable insights.
• Experience with forecasting or financial reporting in a fast-scaling product environment.
• Relocation to Manila, Philippines required.
• Ability to work core hours from 12 PM to 6 PM (GMT+8)
• English proficiency

Responsibilities

• Own mobile analytics end-to-end, including requirements, monitoring, funnel and drop-off analysis, research, and documentation.
• Own Transaction Feed analytics for the Salmon App, including merchant naming standardization, transaction categorization, and icon mapping logic
• Build and maintain dashboards, reporting, and self-serve analytics for Payments products
• Monitor key payment metrics and identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement
• Own forecasting inputs and financial reporting analytics for credit products and bills payment streams
• Deliver stakeholder presentations that turn analysis into decisions
• Work across the Payments domain spanning debit, credit, and cross-border payments, including mobile and transaction feed analytics
• Partner with product and engineering to define and validate tracking requirements for the mobile app interface and transaction feed
• Support analytics for new initiatives, including the Daily Banking launch
• Conduct ad-hoc deep-dive analyses
