Job summary

Aon Philippines is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist (Fixed-Term) to support reconciliation of payments for billed invoices, maintain records, and prepare aging analyses. You will investigate client queries, collaborate with sales, finance, and client services, identify at-risk accounts, and ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile payments for Aon billed and carried billed invoices.
• Maintain accurate records of reconciliation activities per regulatory and internal standards.
• Prepare periodic reports detailing reconciliation and cash-on-account aging analysis; identify high-risk accounts.
• Investigate and resolve client queries and disputes related to payments or account status.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and client services teams to resolve issues.
• Identify accounts at risk of non-payment and recommend recovery actions.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives for reconcilation efficiency and effectiveness.

What the day will look like

• Reconciliation Process Execution
  • Support the reconciliation of payments for both Aon billed and carried billed invoices
• Reporting & Documentation
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all reconciliation activities in compliance with regulatory and internal standards.
  • Prepare periodic reports detailing reconciliation and cash on account aging analysis, and identify high-risk accounts.
• Issue Resolution
  • Investigate and resolve client queries and disputes related to payments, or account status in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with sales, finance, and client services teams to resolve issues
• Risk Management & Compliance
  • Identify and escalation accounts at risk of non-payment; recommend actions for recovery
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant internal controls, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
• Process Improvement
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives for reconcilation efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Share best practices and support training of new team members as required.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP/accounting systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• High attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Previous experience supporting Singapore-based insurance or health solutions businesses.
• Knowledge of Singapore commercial regulations and compliance standards.
• Customer-centric approach and ability to handle sensitive client relationships.
