Job summary

Thomson Medical Pte Ltd is seeking a Patient Service Officer focused on Accounts Receivable. The role involves resolving overdue bills, coordinating with insurers and corporate clients, and filing claims to tribunals where needed.

You will liaise with collection agencies, follow up on payments and manage instalment plans. A Polytechnic diploma and healthcare AR experience are preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of AR experience in healthcare settings.
• Experience dealing with insurers, corporates and patients.
• Ability to liaise with collection agencies and manage overdue accounts.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Resolve overdue bills and collect payments from individuals, insurers and corporate clients.
• Liaise with hospital-appointed collection agencies on referred cases.
• File claims to Small Claims Tribunal Courts and seek payment from debtors.
• Ensure all patient and corporate billing is accurate and dispatched in a timely manner.
• Follow up on reminders, manage instalment plans, and record actions in HIS."
• Assist in system implementation and workflow redesigns for efficiency.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
