Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health is seeking a Transfer Center Access Specialist in the Philippines who coordinates patient transfer logistics, bed placement, and care continuity across facilities. You will support intake workflows, communications with clinicians, and transportation arrangements to ensure timely patient care.

The role requires an active PHRN license and at least 1 year in healthcare or a clinical environment, with preference for US hospital transfer experience and Epic/Genesys

Qualifications

• Active PHRN license and Philippine RN license required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or health sciences.
• 1+ year healthcare or healthcare contact center experience required.
• 1+ year experience in a clinical environment (required).
• 1+ year experience working in a US hospital – Preferred.
• Epic Electronic Health Record experience preferred.
• Genesys contact center experience – Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate intakes, patient access and transfer workflows focusing on quality, safety and efficiency.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and care teams to ensure timely acceptance, bed assignment and plan of care.
• Serve as liaison between patients, caregivers, providers, hospital staff and external agencies, coordinating transportation and follow-up.
• Apply clinical knowledge and problem-solving to recommend optimal patient outcomes based on information and facility capabilities.
• Document, enter, retrieve and protect patient information in the EMR and required systems, ensuring regulatory compliance.
