Job summary

Amkor Worldwide Services LLC-ROHQ is seeking a Patching Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise patch management across Windows, Linux, and related platforms, ensuring security, compliance, and uptime.

You will collaborate with cybersecurity and IT teams to assess vulnerabilities, perform risk assessments, and produce patch compliance reports while coordinating maintenance windows and rollback procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Support, or Patch Management.
• Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and virtualization environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise patching solutions.
• Knowledge of networking concepts, operating systems, and cybersecurity best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise patch management processes.
• Schedule, test, and deploy OS and application patches across Windows, Linux, and other platforms.
• Manage firmware and software updates for servers, network equipment, and endpoints.
• Monitor patch deployment and resolve failures or configuration issues.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to assess vulnerabilities and remediation.
• Track patch compliance metrics and participate in audits.
• Maintain system stability, coordinate maintenance windows, and document changes.
• Develop automation workflows for patch installation, verification, and reporting.
