Job summary

Bubba’s Pizza – San Juan, La Union is seeking a Prep Cook / Utility to prepare ingredients according to kitchen prep procedures and help maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen. You will wash, cut, portion, label, and store ingredients, assist with dishwashing and cleaning tasks, and support service by restocking and helping other stations as directed by management.

This position offers full-time hours in a fast-paced restaurant setting, with opportunities to work across kitchen

Responsibilities

• The Prep Cook prepares vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients according to the kitchen’s preparation procedures.
• The Prep Cook must ensure that all prepared ingredients are properly labeled and stored.
• During service, the Prep Cook supports kitchen stations by restocking items and assisting with food preparation as directed by management.

CORE JOB DESCRIPTION

The Prep Cook / Utility prepares ingredients according to kitchen prep procedures and assists with maintaining kitchen organization and sanitation.

This role includes washing, cutting, portioning, labeling, and storing ingredients as directed by the Head Chef or Assistant Chef.

The Prep Cook also supports kitchen operations by assisting with dishwashing, cleaning tasks, and maintaining the overall organization of the kitchen.

RESPONSIBILITIES & OPERATIONAL DUTIES

The Prep Cook prepares vegetables, sauces, and other ingredients according to the kitchen’s preparation procedures.

Food Labeling and Storage

The Prep Cook must ensure that all prepared ingredients are properly labeled and stored.

Kitchen Support During Service

During service, the Prep Cook supports kitchen stations by preparing additional ingredients when needed and assisting with restocking items used during service.

Dishwashing and Sanitation

The Prep Cook assists with dishwashing and cleaning tasks to maintain kitchen sanitation.

Kitchen Organization and Cleaning

The Prep Cook is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the kitchen.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES & OPERATIONAL FLEXIBILITY

Due to the nature of restaurant operations, the Prep Cook / Utility may be assigned additional duties necessary to support kitchen operations.

These duties may include assisting other kitchen stations, performing additional cleaning tasks, or supporting food preparation as directed by management.
