Job description

The Utility / Kitchen Staff member supports daily kitchen operations by maintaining cleanliness, assisting food preparation, and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient work environment. This role is essential to keeping the kitchen running smoothly and meeting food safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, including floors, counters, storage rooms, and trash areas
• Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks (washing, peeling, cutting ingredients)
• Ensure proper handling and storage of food, supplies, and equipment
• Take out trash and recycling following sanitation guidelines
• Follow health, safety, and food hygiene regulations at all times
• Support opening and closing kitchen duties as assigned
• Assist with receiving and organizing kitchen deliveries
