Job summary

PPG Labs is seeking a hands-on chef for a part-time role at our Singapore cloud kitchen. You will cook from provided recipes, measure portions with precision, and prepare meals for scheduled dispatch on Wednesdays and Sundays.

Ideal candidates have hands-on kitchen experience in high-volume or production settings, the ability to learn new cuisines quickly, and a commitment to consistent quality and safety standards. WSQ certification is required or obtainable before start.

Qualifications

• Hands-on commercial kitchen experience, ideally in high-volume or production kitchen.
• Able to pick up new recipes quickly due to rotating menus.
• Comfortable with precise portioning and specifications.
• Holds a WSQ Food Safety certification, or willing to obtain before starting.
• Reliable and able to commit to both shifts every week.
• Standing for most of a 10-hour shift.
• Able to lift up to ~15 kg.
• Repetitive prep and portioning motions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a rotating menu spanning multiple cuisines.
• Cook, weigh, and portion meals to client specifications.
• Pack and label meals for dispatch.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards.
• Work efficiently within a fixed shift to meet dispatch schedule.
