Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience; payroll and BIR compliance is an advantage.
• Knowledge of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and government statutory requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with accounting software is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively in a part-time capacity.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate closely with the Accounting Manager.

Responsibilities

• Assist in payroll processing and ensure compliance with statutory benefits requirements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice preparation, payment processing, and collection monitoring.
• Prepare and assist in filing BIR reports and other government-mandated compliances.
• Maintain accurate, organized, and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and monitoring of cash transactions.
• Support the preparation of financial reports and analyses for management review.
• Help ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and accounting procedures.
• Assist with audits and implementation of corrective actions when necessary.
• Support accounting system updates, data entry, and process improvements under the guidance of the Accounting Manager.
• Perform other accounting and administrative duties as assigned and appropriate to the role.
