Job summary

Winning Assistants, Inc. is seeking a Dental Claims Processing Specialist for part-time hours (12:00 PM – 4:00 PM CT, Mon-Fri). The role involves end-to-end processing of dental insurance claims, verification of submission accuracy, and proactive follow-ups to ensure timely payments.

Experience with Open Dental preferred. Strong English communication skills and attention to detail are essential. This is a remote, independent contractor position with opportunities for performance-based incentives

Qualifications

• 1 year or more hands-on experience in dental insurance billing and claims processing.
• Strong knowledge of dental insurance procedures, claim reconciliation and follow-up.
• Ability to independently manage end-to-end dental claims processing with minimal supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing, preparation, review and submission of dental claims.
• Review claims for errors and discrepancies before submission to minimize rejections.
• Investigate denied or unpaid claims and prepare corrections or appeals.
• Submit supporting documentation to facilitate claim approvals.
• Perform daily claim reconciliation and monitor processing outcomes.
• Follow up on outstanding claims to ensure timely processing and payment.
