Job summary

Liberty Insurance Corporation in Makati invites a licensed physician to join as Part-Time Company Physician. The role provides basic occupational health services to employees, promotes workplace wellness, and assists management and HR on health matters.

The position requires 4 hours per duty, two days per week, on a schedule agreed upon. We value confidentiality, professional judgment, and the ability to guide health-related decisions while maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed and registered Physician in the Philippines.
• Graduate of a recognized Doctor of Medicine program.
• Experience in occupational/company medicine preferred; fresh practitioners with relevant clinical experience may be considered.
• Knowledge of basic occupational health, workplace safety, and employee health management.

Responsibilities

• Conduct medical consultations and basic health assessments for employees.
• Evaluate employees who become ill or have medical concerns at work and provide medical advice or referrals.
• Assess and provide recommendations regarding employees' fitness to work when necessary.
• Review medical certificates and other health documents submitted by employees.
• Guide HR on medical concerns related to attendance, sick leave, and return-to-work arrangements while maintaining confidentiality.
• Provide basic first aid and emergency medical assistance when needed.
• Recommend referrals to hospitals or specialists when necessary.
• Assist in developing and implementing workplace health and wellness programs.
• Provide health education and awareness activities for employees.
• Advise management and HR on occupational health and safety concerns from a medical perspective.
• Assist in reviewing workplace health risks and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain accurate and confidential medical records and consultation reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable occupational health and safety and medical practice requirements.
• Perform other related medical duties as assigned by management.
