Job summary

The Philippine Football Federation in Carmona, Cavite, is seeking an Accounting/Liquidation Staff on a part-time basis to support our finance team with accurate financial records, accounts payable/receivable, and liquidation processes that underpin day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles, double-entry bookkeeping, and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in numerical work.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger functions.
• Knowledge of liquidation processes and account settlement procedures is highly desirable.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Integrity and a commitment to confidentiality and data protection.
• Problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Processing and recording financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and organizational policies
• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and reconciliations
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Supporting liquidation processes, including settlement of outstanding balances and account closures
• Maintaining accurate and organised financial records and documentation
• Performing bank reconciliations and verifying transaction accuracy
• Assisting with audit preparations and responding to audit queries
• Collaborating with other departments to resolve financial discrepancies and inquiries
• Supporting the finance team in month-end and year-end closing activities
• Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and internal control procedures
