The role primarily supports lawyers in corporate documentation, SEC/BIR and government filings, permits and registrations, property and share transfers, immigration processing, legal research, and application monitoring, requiring both office-based and field work.
Key responsibilities
Drafts and prepares corporate and legal documents, including General Information Sheets, Secretary's Certificates, SEC filings, and related documents
Conducts legal research and gathers information/documents required by lawyers
Handles SEC corporate filings, including incorporation, amendments, partnerships, increase/decrease of capital, dissolution, merger/consolidation, branch/representative office registration, and other corporate applications
Processes and follows up on government registrations, permits, licenses, and corporate applications with agencies such as the SEC, BIR, LGUs, Registry of Deeds, Assessor's Office, and LTO
Handles business permit applications and renewals, BIR registrations, tax payments/clearances, property and vehicle ownership transfers, and share transfers
Processes requests for Certificates of Good Standing, certified true copies, monitoring reports, and other corporate documents
Assists in immigration matters, including visa, work permit, and Alien Employment Permit applications, extensions, cancellations, and dependent applications with the BI and DOLE
Prepares and organizes filing documents, transmittal memos, status reports, reimbursements, and liquidation reports
Maintains accurate filing systems and monitoring records and provides updates to lawyers and supervisors regarding application status
Performs administrative, field, and other duties as assigned
