Job summary

Paramount Resources Pte Ltd in the Philippines seeks a senior paralegal to support the Legal Counsel team on regulatory matters, including competition and antitrust across the client’s food businesses. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong research, analytical, drafting and organisational capabilities.

You will conduct legal/regulatory research, prepare concise analyses, assist with document collection and regulatory submissions, and coordinate information with business units

About the role

The paralegal will support the Legal Counsel team on regulatory matters, including competition and antitrust matters across the client's food businesses. This is an individual contributor role requiring strong research, analytical, coordination and document management capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Support Legal Counsel team on regulatory matters, including antitrust and competition law matters, covering investigations, regulatory reviews and internal compliance.
• Conduct legal and regulatory research and prepare concise analysis and summaries for counsel.
• Assist with document collection, review, organisation and preparation for regulatory submissions or investigations.
• Coordinate information and responses across business units and functions. Maintain case files, regulatory correspondence, trackers and key deadlines.
• Support competition law compliance initiatives, training materials and internal guidance.
• Liaise with regulators, external counsel and relevant internal stakeholders as required.

About you

• Diploma or Degree in Law, Legal Studies or a related discipline.
• At least 7 to 10 years of paralegal experience, preferably in competition/antitrust, regulatory or corporate legal work.
• Strong research, analytical, drafting and organisational skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Able to work independently and manage multiple matters and deadlines.
