About the role

The Electrical PM is responsible for managing electrical works packages within construction projects, overseeing design coordination, progress monitoring, quality control, cost management, and on-site presence. The role involves collaboration with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Site safety oversight and collaboration with the safety management team; ensure workforce safety and compliance with environmental and health standards
• Collaborate with design teams to ensure design completeness, scope clarity, and buildability; maintain and review marked-up plans and documentation
• Attend Design and Construction Coordination meetings and coordinate with design consultants for approvals and clarifications
• Monitor project progress against schedules, critical paths, and milestones; implement progressive checks to maintain quality standards
• Manage, organize and coordinate package contractors to execute work in accordance with program, design documents, specifications and contract payments
• Track Tender Event Schedule, review Scope of Works, and conduct Technical Tender Review; ensure Design Compliance on all related scope
• Track and manage changes to the package, monitor contractor claims, and assist in budget recovery efforts
• Conduct periodic, daily and site visits to inspect conditions, track progress, and address emerging issues
• Maintain trackers for submissions, RFIs, inspections, and changes; prepare meeting agendas and minutes
• Identify potential risks related to safety, design, scheduling, cost, and quality; develop and implement risk mitigation strategies

About you

• BS in Electrical Engineering
• 3-5 years Work Experience
• Has field / site experience managing stakeholders
• Familiarity with Google-based documentations, well-versed with computer based mark-up tools (adobe pdf at min.)
• Average knowledge in project management especially on design, planning and coordination aspects
• Good leadership and communication skills with strong ability to lead and negotiate
• Good interpersonal skills and team player with strength in coordination with various parties
• Good presenter inclusive of good skill in preparation of presentation materials
• Above average proficiency level of communication (oral and written) and creative thinking skills
• Self-motivated and driven to succeed with a proactive work approach
