Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or related field.
Hands-on bookkeeping experience, 2+ years.
Experience with US-based clients is a plus.
Proficient in QuickBooks Online; knowledge of Bill.com/Gusto is beneficial.
Comfortable with cash-basis and accrual accounting.

Responsibilities

All bank and credit card reconciliations for assigned clients, accurate and timely.
Transaction categorization, journal entries, and data extraction.
Balance sheet and schedules kept current; discrepancies researched.
Staff review at close: compile month entries for senior accountant review.
Update process documentation for owned tasks and processes.
