Job summary

The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts is seeking an F&B supervisor to support daily operations, ensure service standards, and supervise staff across the restaurant and bar areas.

You will work closely with the manager to train staff, monitor guest satisfaction, and coordinate with the kitchen and beverage teams to execute promotions and maintain quality. A strong focus on safety and presentation is essential.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Forbes Travel Guide service standards.
• Familiar with Microsoft software applications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills for diplomatically handling staff and customers.
• Strong planning and organisational skills to run a streamlined operation.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Manager to run the operation and provide efficient, expedient and courteous service to all guests.
• Assist the manager in training and audit service standards according to Forbes Travel Guide and hotel's service quality protocols.
• Supervise staff assigned to him/her and ensure all phases of Food & Beverage service are performed.
• Ensure drinks and food dishes meet menu and wine list specs, are presented correctly, and served at the proper temperature.
• Check daily restaurant prep, mise-en-place, table cleanliness, crockery, cutlery, and glassware; monitor personal cleanliness and appearance of staff.
• Enforce strict safety regulations.
• Hold daily briefings with staff each shift; review occupancy forecast, reservations, complaints, and issues.
• Conduct staff appraisals and discipline as needed.
• Inspect outlet for cleanliness of linen, equipment, fixtures and furniture; ensure proper table setups and mise-en-place.
• Monitor guest service levels and attend to guests promptly.
• Anticipate guest complaints and take corrective action.
• Ensure operating supplies and equipment are adequate against par stock.
• Anticipate additional supplies/equipment for higher workload.
• Coordinate with Chef and beverage department for promotions and upselling.
